What We Do

Two disciplines, one standard of craft.

Homes that work exactly how you live.

Whether you’re remodeling a 1950s bungalow in Cheyenne or wiring a new build in Fort Collins, every circuit is planned, labeled, and tested like it belongs to our own family. Clean finish, zero shortcuts.

Commercial work, to government-contract spec.

Isaac’s overseas experience upgrading power systems for US Federal-facility work shaped how Moonlight approaches commercial jobs: documentation, redundancy, and load planning that holds up to audits and inspectors without a second visit.

Explore Commercial

Industrial power, built to spec.

Plants, warehouses, and facilities depend on systems that survive continuous duty cycles and shifting loads. Isaac’s government-grade discipline, documentation, redundancy, and methodical testing, carries directly into the industrial floor where downtime is the real cost.

Our Story

A hometown electrician who wired federal facilities.

Isaac Garcia was supposed to be an engineer. Somewhere between paying for school and an apprenticeship that was just meant to cover tuition, he fell for the trade. After years at local shops in Wyoming, he took the work overseas, upgrading power systems for US Federal facilities where a missed ground or sloppy termination isn’t an inconvenience, it’s an international incident.

Family brought him home. Moonlight Electric Solutions is what happens when that level of discipline comes back to the neighborhood: commercial-grade skill, hometown availability, and a near-obsessive commitment to leaving every panel cleaner than we found it.

Isaac grew up in this part of the country, and that is not a marketing line, it is the reason the work looks the way it does. He knows what a Cheyenne winter does to a service entrance, why a house on a well outside town needs its backup power sized differently than a tract home, and how fast the Cheyenne to Fort Collins corridor is filling in with new homes, new businesses, and the EV and solar work that comes with them. When you call Moonlight, you are not getting a dispatcher and a rotating crew. You are getting an electrician who is going to be living down the road from your job long after it is finished, which is exactly why he does it right the first time.

The standard is the same whether you are a homeowner replacing a tired panel or a plant manager who cannot afford an hour of downtime: we walk the job, tell you straight what it needs, put it in writing, and back it up. Every wire is pulled by a licensed electrician or an accredited apprentice working under direct supervision, every panel is labeled so the next person can read it, and we are one phone call away when a question comes up a year later. That is the whole pitch. Quality over cost, and people over volume.

Neighbors Who’ve Hired Us

What Cheyenne & Northern Colorado say.

Isaac pulled our whole panel and ran the EV circuit in one day. Came back a week later just to check torque on the lugs. Nobody does that. Best electrician we’ve hired in twenty years of owning this house.

Dana M. Homeowner · Cheyenne, WY

We contracted Moonlight on a commercial remodel with a tight inspection window. Drawings were clean, labeling was impeccable, and the inspector signed off first pass. Rare combination.

Ryan H. Property Manager · Fort Collins, CO

Solar and backup generator on an older farmhouse near Burns. Isaac explained the load calc in plain English and actually came in under his quote. Powered through two winters without a hiccup.

Do you serve my area?

Moonlight Electric Solutions serves a roughly 50-mile radius around Cheyenne, WY, including Laramie, Burns, Pine Bluffs, Carpenter, Ranchettes, Fox Farm-College, Warren AFB, and into Northern Colorado (Fort Collins, Greeley, South Greeley). If you’re outside that range and the project is right, call us anyway. We’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit.

Are you licensed in both Wyoming and Colorado?

Yes. Isaac holds State and City Master Electrician licenses in both Wyoming and Colorado. Every electrician on our crew is either licensed or an officially accredited apprentice working under direct supervision.

Do you pull permits?

Always, when the jurisdiction requires one. Permits protect your property value, your insurance, and any future buyer of the home or building. We handle the paperwork and coordinate inspections so you don’t have to chase anyone down.

How soon can you start?

Emergency service calls we try to reach same-day. Standard residential projects typically start within one to two weeks of signed quote. Commercial jobs are scheduled around inspection windows and project milestones. We’ll give you a realistic start date in writing before you commit.

Can you handle EV chargers for a whole commercial lot?

Yes. Commercial EV infrastructure is a core service: load calculations, transformer sizing, conduit runs, charger installation, and coordination with utility upgrades. Isaac’s government-contract work involved scaled power distribution, and those same disciplines apply to multi-unit EV deployments.

Do you offer free quotes?

Yes. Free written quotes for residential and commercial work, with no obligation. Call (307) 757-5553 or use the form below.

Why does a generator or panel need to be sized for Wyoming specifically?

Because the conditions here are not the conditions a spec sheet assumes. Cheyenne and Laramie sit at high altitude, where thinner air cuts a generator engine’s output below its sea-level rating, so a unit picked off the box can come up short under real load. Add brutal cold that is hard on starting, and rural properties where a well pump has to run on backup power, and the right size is rarely the obvious one. We size off your actual loads and the worst night of the year, not a rule of thumb.

What makes Moonlight different from other electricians in the area?

Two things. First, the experience: Isaac spent years upgrading power systems for US federal facilities, so the documentation, labeling, and methodical testing on your job is held to a standard most residential shops never see. Second, the ownership: he grew up here, he is going to be living down the road from your job long after it is finished, and he cares about the people on the other side of the quote. You get government-grade work from a hometown electrician who answers his own phone.
