How Service Upgrades Work
Load Study and Capacity Analysis
We document existing demand, identify expansion loads, and calculate the new service size. We confirm available transformer capacity at the property and coordinate with Rocky Mountain Power on any utility-side upgrades required.
Engineering and Utility Application
We produce single-line diagrams, file the utility service application, and submit permit drawings to the City of Cheyenne. Utility-side work typically drives the schedule, so we file early.
Material Procurement and Pre-Cutover Work
We procure long-lead equipment (meter bases, main switchgear, conductors) and complete all interior work that can be done before the cutover. The goal is to minimize the actual outage window.
Cutover, Commissioning, and Documentation
